8 years ago, Arimac Digital was founded by Chamira Jayasinghe as a small start-up tech company. Soon they grew up to be a fully functional digital service provider in sectors such as web & mobile development, immersive technology, robotics and cognitive sciences and game development.
Arimac, starting out as a boot-strap company has now expanded to several countries such as UAE, Caribbean island and Australia serving a vast number of industry leaders such as Ethihad, Visa and Emirates.
With over 130 staff members currently employed at Arimac Digital, the entire team together innovate products such as Diyazen - which is the first humanoid robot in South Asia, NERO – biggest PC game in Sri Lanka, IMI Club – Sri Lanka’s largest hyper-casual gaming platform. Arimac also was able to create “Butterfly Effect” AR filters for United Nations SDG awareness campaign and it was featured in the UN General Assembly which was held in New York recently this year.
With the hope of launching Arimac in Australia, Arimac Digital partnered up with REDD digital, a like-minded partner who empowers digital strategy and digital governance by providing services such as Chief Digital Officer (CDO), Digital MRI and many other tech solutions.
Chamira Jayasinghe, along with his Australian partners at REDD Digital Nigel Heyne (CEO at REDD Digital) and Brad Ferris (Director at REDD Digital) shared their thoughts and ideas on how they are looking forward to collaborating in order to digitally disrupt the world and bring new technology to Sri Lanka through exciting projects.
Arimac celebrated its 8th year anniversary on the 26th of September 2019. With the hope of being a Unicorn in the digital 2028, Arimac continues to disrupt the digital realm of Sri Lanka for many more years to come.
