Auxenta champions its female employees on International Women’s Day


International Women's Day (March 8) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity. Sri Lankan Silicon Valley tech firm – Auxenta – is commemorating Women’s Day by organizing a program at its office under this year’s #BalanceforBetter theme. The company has achieved a high level of gender balance in its team, with females making up 40% of staff in its office. Reiterating its commitment to enhancing this ratio even further in time to come, the #BalanceforBetter theme pervaded the company’s corridors on International Women’s Day, with surprise gift bags being presented by management to female staff, who were further delighted to find special décor arrangements on their tables when they came in to work. The day was marked by camaraderie and discussions on the role of women in the workplace. 

The company treated the entire staff to refreshments on the occasion.
