HealthRecon Connect (HealthRecon), a leading revenue cycle management company that provides end to end medical billing and collections services to healthcare providers based in the US, celebrated its fifth-year anniversary on May 09, 2021.
Over the past five years, HealthRecon has been able to bring nearly three decades of deep domain experience, cutting-edge analytics, automated workflow solutions and compliant and benchmark defining processes to help healthcare providers in the US improve and accelerate cashflow, increase patient focus, improve competitiveness, and manage their revenue cycle with more ease and peace of mind.
To mark the occasion of the five-year milestone, HealthRecon launched a series of initiatives to celebrate with its 1300+ team members around the world.
The fifth-year anniversary coincides with HealthRecon Connect achieving a number of accreditations. In 2021, the company was certified as one of the Great Workplaces in Sri Lanka for the third time by Great Place to Work® in Sri Lanka, an achievement that reaffirms the organization’s commitment to building an extraordinary workplace and culture together with its employees and the organization’s core-values (CREDO) serving as its guiding light.
HealthRecon Connect also received the ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management Systems) and ISO 27001:2013 (Information Security Management) certifications in 2021, a testament to its commitment and ability to have the necessary internal processes and controls in place to safeguard Protected Health Information (PHI) and business sensitive information, be compliant and provide bespoke revenue cycle management services with robust processes and the highest information security standards.
During the year ending May 2021, HealthRecon Connect also made advancements in the commitment towards diversity, equality, and inclusivity. The company pledged its commitment to the United Nations Global Compact in August 2020, becoming a signatory. The UN Global Compact, a special initiative of the UN Secretary-General, calls on companies around the globe to align their operations and strategies with the ten universal principles in the areas of human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption.
In September 2020, the company took part in the Target Gender Equality, an accelerator program which calls for bold action to set and meet ambitious corporate targets for women’s representation and leadership in business for participating companies of the UN Global Compact. The company also became a member of the Gender & Diversity Working Group of the UN Global Compact Network Sri Lanka.
As a company, HealthRecon believes that the RCM industry provides a strong platform for creating successful career paths for professional women and has always been committed to gender equality at every level of the organization. HealthRecon has always recognized the importance of the contributions, competencies, and capabilities that women bring to the table when leading teams, handling customer relationships and making strategic decisions.
In recognition of the unique path women take balancing personal lives and careers, HealthRecon Connect launched ASPIRE - a learning, sharing and action forum. The purpose was to create a sustainable program where the women at HealthRecon can not only learn, but also participate. The program is delivered under four main avenues,
• Capacity building
• Wellness
• Organizational process
• Creative expression
2020/2021 was a significant catalyst for the company and it is poised to soar. The leadership team, together with the members of the HealthRecon Connect family at every level, is committed to steering the organization through the current and post-pandemic landscape and is prepared and geared to further support the remarkable expansion and growth trajectory the organization has experience thus far.
