Neat Optics (Pvt) Ltd., importer and distributor of eye care and testing products, recently relocated the showroom to their own premises in Boralesgamuwa on 347/1 Lake Road. The shift was made with the aim to provide a better and more convenient service to clients, who include some of the leading eye care retailers in Sri Lanka.

One of the most well-known eye care solution providers in the country, Neat Optics (Pvt) Ltd. serves a wide range of B2B optometric needs including spectacle frames, sunglasses, spectacle cases, lenses, display items and machineries from China, Singapore and India. The company’s own brands include 2 Star, I Max, Crown and Cristal frames, Red Sun Sunglasses, and Supore and Xinyuan branded machinery.

The company was initiated in 2004 by Samantha Pathirana, who recognized a vacuum in the optometric industry where there was no systematic supply of products and services for retailers in the business. “I established Neat Holdings to bridge this gap where retailers involved in eye care solutions would have a continuous supply of qualitative products. I experimented with different products until I saw the need for optometric solutions. The market environment at the time was conducive for a business of this nature. Over the years, we have also developed our after sale services, thereby building a loyal clientele, that covers over 90% of the requirements of the industry,” he stated.

Mr. Rohana Pathirana, the MD of Neat Optics (Pvt) Ltd and Mr. Aruna Priyashantha, the Chairman of the Boralesgamuwa Municipal Council declare open the new store.
