2024 intermediate national school admissions completed per circular

Colombo, August 6 (Daily Mirror) - Admissions of children to the intermediate classes of national schools for the year 2024 have been completed as per the circular, the Education Ministry announced. 

After the announcement of the Presidential election, on July 26 the Education Ministry suspended the issuing of letters to admit children or the transfer of officials.

The Ministry said they had received complaints that a person claiming to be a trade union representative in the education sector is spreading false statements regarding the above information.
