350 prisoners to be released tomorrow

Colombo,September 11 (Daily Mirror) - A total of 350 prisoners convicted for minor offences will be released from prisons across the country tomorrow to mark Prisoners' Day, which falls on September 12, Prisons Commissioner Gamini B. Dissanayake said.

Dissanayaka said that these prisoners have been granted a special Presidential pardon under the authority vested with the President through Article 34 of the Constitution.
