37 independent groups place deposits for General Election

Colombo, October 2 (Daily Mirror) - A total of 37 independent groups have placed cash deposits for the upcoming general election scheduled for November 14, 2024, the Election Commission stated.

The groups made their deposits between September 25 to October 1.

Key districts with the highest number of deposits include Batticaloa (7), Jaffna (04), Digamadulla (4) and Trincomalee (3).
