AKD exhausted, doctors advise him to rest

Colombo, September 7 (Daily Mirror)- NPP Presidential candidate Anura Kumara Dissanayake has been advised to rest by his doctors after suffering from fever due to exhaustion. 

JVP General Secretary Tilvin Silva told a rally in Deiyandara, Matara that Dissanayake was unable to attend the rally as he is not well.

"Anura is not well. He broke rest during the last few days and is exhausted. He is suffering from fever and it became worse this morning. So, his doctors have advised him to rest at least for a day. We decided to give him a rest today," he said.

Dissanayake attended NPP Lawyers' Conference and sports conference- 'the Winning Edge, a Roadmap Towards Sporting Greatness' in Colombo this morning.
