Cape Weligama among top 3 resorts in asia

Bringing Sri Lanka under fresh spotlight is Cape Weligama, as it has been voted as one of the top three best resorts in the rest of Asia by Conde Nast Traveller Readers’ Choice Awards 2022. 

The resort received the third rank by public voting. The top two resorts were named as Six Senses Ninh Van Bay, Vietnam (1) and Six Sense Bhutan. 

Sri Lanka’s Cape Weligama received a score of 99.05. The top two resorts received a score of 99.69 and 99.23. 

Cape Weligama is a luxury clifftop resort in Sri Lanka that opened its doors in 2014. It is an oceanfront resort spanning across 12 acres of tropical garden. With five of the world’s seven species of sea turtles nesting along this coastline and a migration channel for blue and sperm whales a mere mile offshore, the resort is a cetacean enthusiast’s paradise.
