Chariot unveil Bhanuka Rajapaksa as Brand Ambassador

Chariot Sri Lanka recently unveiled national cricketer Bhanuka Rajapaksa as their Brand Ambassador for the year 2022 at an event hosted by Asriel Holdings (Pvt.) Ltd. at the Shangri-La Hotel in Colombo.

The Chariot restaurant has a history of over 35 years in the island and was bought over in 2019 by the Asriel Group of Companies.

Rajapaksa who is soon to link up with his Indian Premier League franchise, Punjab Kings, will be sporting the Chariot logo on his bat during the tournament.

“I will be carrying the Chariot logo in the IPL and hopefully for many more years to come,” Rajapaksa said.

He further shared that he intends to launch a cricket academy in the future, working alongside Chairman of Asriel Holdings (Pvt.) Ltd., Shiran Peiris.

“Shiran and I want to start a cricket academy as well. We want to sponsor a few players every year. We see a lot of talent in Sri Lanka but the issue is developing that talent,” he expressed.
