Court of Appeal orders to postpone Magisterial inquiry against Maithripala Sirisena

The Court of Appeal today issued an order postponing Magisterial inquiry against former President Maithripala Sirisena in connection with the Easter Sunday attack incidents.

Court of Appeal two-judge-bench comprising Justices Sobhitha Rajakaruna and Dhammika Ganepola decided to postpone magisterial inquiry at Colombo Fort Magistrate's Court for a period of 10 weeks pursuant to a writ petition filed by former the President. (Lakmal Sooriyagoda)
