Daily egg consumption increases by three million: Minister

Parliament, August 6 (Daily Mirror)- Sri Lanka’s daily egg consumption has increased by three million during the past few days, Minister of Trade Nalin Fernando informed Parliament today.

The Minister who was responding to a question raised in the House by MP Premanath Dollawatta, said the daily egg consumption has increased due to the high demand from hotels while people have shifted toward consumption of eggs with the price increase of meat and fish.
