Driver arrested for driving bus along railway track

Colombo, June 2 (Daily Mirror)- The driver who drove a private bus along the Kelani Valley railway track at Puwakpitiya has been arrested in Embilipitiya, Police said.

He was arrested following a video circulated on social media, which showed a private bus plying between Embilipitiya and Colombo being driven along the railway track apparently to avoid the traffic congestion on the road.

The bus has also been taken into police custody.
