Economic Transformation Bill to be presented to Parliament on May 22

Colombo May 17 (Daily Mirror) - The proposed Economic Transformation Bill and Public Finance Management Bill are set to be presented to Parliament on May 22, as announced by the Parliament media unit today.

Party leaders, who convened with Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena today, reached the decision to introduce the two legislations on the specified date.

Further, an adjournment Bill put forth by the opposition will be deliberated on the same day.
