Election Commission summons officials from key organizations

Colombo, August 07 (Daily Mirror) -  The Election Commission is poised to host a spate of discussions with multiple organizations including election monitoring organizations today. 

The session, chaired by the Chairman of the Election Commission, is set to focus on ensuring a smooth and transparent electoral process.

Accordingly, election monitoring organizations will meet Election Commission officials followed by separate discussions with heads of government institutions responsible for electoral infrastructure.

In addition, key representatives from organizations such as the Ceylon Electricity Board and the National Water Supply and Drainage Board are scheduled to attend this meeting to tackle logistical and support issues essential for the upcoming Presidential election.
