Final rites of Ven. Galboda Gnanissara Thera to be held under state patronage

Colombo, August 02 (Daily Mirror) - The final rites of the late Ven. Galaboda Gnanissara Thera, known as Podi Hamuduruwo, of the Gangaramaya Temple, will be held under State patronage. 

The ceremony is scheduled for August 5 at 4:30 PM at the grounds opposite the temple, according to the Funeral Committee.

The remains of the Thera will be laid at the Gangaramaya Temple from 6 AM tomorrow (03), allowing devotees and the public to pay their respects.
