Floating solar power projects on Mahaweli Authority reservoirs

Colombo, September 13 (Daily Mirror) -  The Cabinet has approved a plan to implement floating solar power projects on key reservoirs under the jurisdiction of the Sri Lanka Mahaweli Authority. 

The floating solar power projects are set to be developed on three major reservoirs: Randenigala, Moragahakanda, and Kalawewa. 

These reservoirs have been identified as prime locations for the projects following feasibility studies conducted by the Mahaweli Authority.
