Free Trade Zone Manufacturers expresses confidence in Prez. fulfilling nation’s aspirations

The Free Trade Zone Manufacturers’ Association (FTZMA) yesterday sounded a note of optimism about President Ranil Wickremesinghe ushering in the necessary changes to the 
country’s economy. 

The Executive Committee of the association while congratulating Wickremesinghe for his accomplishment said its fullest support would be extended to help fulfil the country’s aspirations.

“We believe that you would do your utmost to fulfil the aspiration of the people, towards which we extend our fullest corporation,” the association said in a statement to 
the media.

The association said it is eager to see Sri Lanka come out of the current economic crisis fast and resume normalcy and prosperity. 

“The whole country pins a lot of hopes on your prowess to establish a multi-party government to usher in the much-needed stability and growth through effective governance by managing the economy with strict discipline at all levels of government sans corruption,” the FTZMA added.

The association went on to state that it is confident that Wickremesinghe, as a well-experienced leader, can face the uphill task to resuscitate Sri Lanka and fulfil the aspirations of all sections of the public, including those who have been demanding a system change by winning the hearts of all. 

“We, as exporters, will do our best to help the country by try and improve our foreign earnings to the country,” they added.
