Harsha resigns as UNP Treasurer

Former UNP MP Dr. Harsha De Silva today said that he resigned from the position of Treasurer of the United National Party (UNP). In a tweet, Dr. De Silva said he also met UNP Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe today.

“This morning I personally met Mr. Wickremesinghe at UNP headquarters and informed him of my decision to contest under the Samagi Jana Balawegaya with Sajith Premadasa. I also resigned from my position of Treasurer of the UNP,” he said.
