Colombo, August 15 (Daily Mirror) - The ICFS Education is hosting a University Spot Admission Session on August 17, where Sri Lankan students will have the opportunity to receive offer letters from York St John University and De Montfort University on the spot.
The event will be held at the Cinnamon Grand Hotel, Colombo, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The UK remains a highly preferred study destination for Sri Lankan students. Despite recent regulatory changes, interest in studying in the UK continues to grow. The UK offers lower investment in education compared to many other leading destinations, with flexible financial requirements making it accessible for many students.
The University Spot Admission Day aims to facilitate immediate offer letters for students planning to start their higher education in the UK.
Chathurika Dissanayake, CEO of ICFS Education said that the event is an excellent opportunity for students interested in the September 2024 intake or those aiming for the January 2025 intake. Students who attend the event may leave with an offer letter from York St John University or De Montfort University.
Attendees should bring their academic documents, passport, and CV for assessment.
Both universities are popular among Sri Lankan students for their affordable tuition, English waivers, student support, and quality education. Notably, students with a “C” pass in their Ordinary Level exams can secure an English waiver, exempting them from IELTS or PTE requirements for university admission and visa applications.
The offer process at the event is expected to take around 20 minutes for candidates who come prepared with all necessary documents. Students are encouraged to bring both hard copies and digital copies of their documents on a mobile device or pen drive to expedite the process.
