ICFS to host education exhibition for overseas study

Colombo, August 12 (Daily Mirror) - An Education Exhibition, offering students a unique chance to explore overseas study options with universities from the UK, Australia, New Zealand, USA, Canada, Germany, Finland, Malaysia, and Singapore, is scheduled to take place on August 17, the International Centre for Foreign Studies (ICFS) said.

The event organised by the ICFS will be held at the Cinnamon Grand Hotel in Colombo from 10 am to 5 pm.

ICFS said that attendees will have the opportunity to receive spot offer letters from York St John University and De Montfort University in the UK for upcoming intakes.

CEO of ICFS Education Centre, Chathurika Dissanayake, said that there will be various opportunities, including IELTS waivers, scholarships, and application fee waivers available for all destinations.

She said the event will also provide students with the chance to secure a study loan for postgraduate studies in the UK, USA, and Canada, in collaboration with selected universities from these countries. Students can determine their eligibility for this facility on the spot.

She emphasized that the exhibition is an excellent opportunity for students to explore international education options.

She said that ICFS’s services are completely free, and the organization is dedicated to finding the best opportunities for students aiming to study abroad. The study loan facility aims to broaden global study opportunities for students across Sri Lanka.

University representatives from Australia, the UK, Canada, and the USA will be present to meet prospective students. ICFS encourages all interested students to attend and start their journey toward studying abroad.
