If electricity bill not increased, people must bear with powercuts: Minister

If the electricity bill is not increased, people will have to adapt to power cuts running to several hours, Power and Energy Minister Kanchana Wijesekera said.

In a statement to the media, he stated that some people have criticize that the electricity bill will be raised to compensate for past losses.
