Ill-fated KDU bus driven by driver with suspended license

Galle, November 05 (Daily Mirror)- The driver of the bus that encountered a fatal accident in Badulla had driven the bus with a fake license after his license was suspended by the Galle Magistrate over an accident.

It was revealed that the license had been suspended three months ago and the suspect driver had obtained a temporary licence after producing fake documents.

He had hit and run a motorcyclist on August 5 at Labuduwa in Akmimana and his license had been suspended for five months.
