LP gas prices to be reduced by Rs.150 from tonight

Colombo, June 4 (Daily Mirror) - It has been decided to reduce the retail price of a 12.5 kg cylinder of Litro domestic LP gas by Rs. 150 with effect from midnight today, Litro Gas Chairman Muditha Peiris said today.

He said the decision was taken according to the monthly effective price formula.

After the price reduction the new retail price of a 12.5 kg cylinder of Litro domestic LP gas will be Rs. 3,790.

Accordingly, the price of a 5kg cylinder of gas has been reduced by Rs. 60, and its new price will be Rs. 1,525.
The retail price of a 2.3 kg cylinder of gas will be reduced by Rs. 28, and its new price will be Rs. 712.
