Landslide warning issued for eight districts

Colombo, November 05 (Daily Mirror) -  The National Building Research Organisation (NBRO) today (05) issued early landslide warnings for eight districts.

Accordingly, the warning notices were issued to the Kalutara, Galle, Badulla, Kandy, Kegalle, Matara, Kurunegala and Ratnapura districts.

Residents in these areas are advised to be watchful for sudden appearance of water sprouts, cracks on walls and on the soil as these may be signs of impending landslides, according to NBRO.
