Man killed by lightning strike

Medawachchiya, November 13 (Daily Mirror)- A 47-year-old man was killed after being struck by lightning in Medawachchiya this afternoon.

Police said the man was ploughing in a paddy field when he met with the tragedy.

He was pronounced dead on admission to Medawachchiya Hospital.
