The National People's Power (NPP) secured 8 seats in the Ratnapura District with 368,229 votes, while the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) secured three seats with 133,041

The Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) had unable to secure any seats from the Ratnapura district.
New Democratic Party (NDP) leader Pavithra Wanniarachchi also lost her seat.
