Namal urges Govt. to probe missing Easter Sunday attack PCoI report

Colombo, October 03 (Daily Mirror) -  SLPP National Organizer, MP Namal Rajapaksa has called on the government to investigate the disappearance of the Presidential Commission of Inquiry (PCoI) report on the 2019 Easter Sunday attacks. 

Namal Rajapaksa’s concern follows the statement of Fr. Cyril Gamini Fernando, Director of Communications for the Archdiocese of Colombo who announced that the report, which examined allegations made by the UK's Channel 4 regarding the attacks, is missing.

Taking to X, Rajapaksa expressed concern over the missing report, stating, "It is troubling to read that the Presidential Commission report on the findings of the Easter Sunday attacks has gone missing. If true, the government must immediately probe its whereabouts and release it to the public."
