New alliance formed as ’Samagi Jana Sandanaya’

Colombo, August 8 (Daily Mirror)- Several political parties signed an agreement today to form an alliance as the 'Samagi Jana Sandanaya'. 

Alliances including the SJB, SLFP (Dayasiri faction), Mano Ganesan's TPA, Rauff Hakeem's SLMC, Nidahasa Janatha Sabhawa, Arjuna Ranatunga's Purawesi Handa etc. signed an agreement to form the 'Samagi Jana Sandanaya' to support SJB candidate Sajith Premadasa at the upcoming Presidential election.

The ACMC led by MP Rishad Bathiudeen did not sign the agreement.
