No Sri Lankans seriously affected so far by situation in Lebanon: Foreign Ministry

Colombo, October 03 (Daily Mirror)- No Sri Lankans have been seriously affected so far by the situation in Lebanon, apart from a few Sri Lankans who have been stranded, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said today.

The Ministry said the Sri Lanka Embassy in Beirut is maintaining constant contact with Sri Lankan Associations and individual Sri Lankans registered with the Embassy. 

Ambassador Kapila Jayaweera and officials of the Sri Lanka Embassy are providing assistance to Sri Lankans as required, the Ministry said.
