No postponement of 2024 A/L exam: Examination Department

All arrangements have been made to conduct the 2024 Advanced Level (A/L) examinations from November 25 to December 20, 2024, as scheduled, Commissioner General of Examinations Amith Jayasundara said.

Therefore, the students sitting for the 2024 A/L examinations are urged to download the official schedule available on the Examination Department’s website.

"The date of the examination was decided last March," he said, adding that incorrect examination dates had been circulated on social media, causing confusion among students regarding the official dates," he said.

The Commissioner advised students to rely solely on official announcements made by the Examination Department.

He further stated that A/L admission cards will be distributed to candidates very soon.
