Bomb Scare Disrupts Vistara Flight Landing in Colombo: More Details Revealed

Colombo, Oct 19 (Daily Mirror) - The management of the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) said that the emergency situation declared after the reported bomb scare on the Vistara flight which arrived at the BIA from Mumbai today, has been called off. 

Further, after investigations by the relevant authorities, nothing suspicious was found related to the reported bomb threat on the Vistara flight.

The management of the BIA, together with all relevant authorities adopted all precautionary and preventive measures on the reported incident to ensure the safety of the passengers.

"We hereby inform our valued passengers and airport users that flight operations at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) continue as usual without any disruptions to the airport's normal operations. We sincerely regret any inconvenience this situation may have caused to our valued guests and airport users and appreciate their understanding," the management said.
