PC, two soldiers arrested while using drugs

Homagama, May 12 (Daily Mirror) - A police constable and two soldiers who were using ICE narcotic in a house in the Hiripitiya area were taken into custody by the Homagama police on Saturday night (11) 

Police carried out the raid based on information received from the public and arrested the suspects who had in their possession 60 gms of ICE.

Investigations revealed that the constable had joined the Parliamentary Security Division as a police assistant and had been promoted a PC, while the other two suspects were soldiers attached to the Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps in the Panagoda army cantonment.

They are residents of  Moratuwa, Nikaweratiya and Galapitamada areas. 

The suspects are to be produced before the Homagama magistrate.
