Pages of vehicle transfer form slashed into half

The Department of Motor Traffic (DMT) has decided to shrink the number of pages in the vevicle transfer form to half from January 1.

DMT Commissioner General Nishantha Anuruddha Weerasinghe told the media that the decision was taken considering the complexity of the details and the cost for the papers.

Accordingly, the existing 13 pages will be reduced to 6 from January. (Chaturanga Pradeep Samarawickrame)
