Palali-Achchuveli Road reopens after 30 years

The Palali–Achchuveli main road in the Northern Province reopened today (01), after being closed for more than three decades.

This move was executed under the directive by President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.

The President's Media Division stated that the road was initially closed during the 30-year civil war and remained inaccessible for an additional 15 years following the conflict’s end.
