Parliament to pass resolution to remove SLC office bearers

COLOMBO (Daily Mirror)- Parliament sessions were suspended to hold a party leaders' meeting to decide on bringing a resolution to remove the SLC officials.

Deputy Speaker Ajith Rajapaksa decided to suspend sessions to hold a special party leaders' meeting when the Opposition requested for a resolution to sack the office bearers of SLC.

Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa proposed to bring in a resolution following the special statement made by Sports Minister Roshan Ranasinghe on the fraud and corruption of the SLC.
