Pet dog of well known civil society activist killed

The Negombo Police has launched an investigation into an incident where a well known civil society activist’s pet dog was found killed this morning.

The incident reportedly occurred when the dog went out of the house at Periyamulla.

Police are investigating though the CCTV footage in the area to ascertain the truth of the information received claiming that a person had opened fire at the dog. (Seeduwa Prasad Mutukuda)
