Police probe into anonymous threat to Chavakachcheri Court

Jaffna, Oct 30 (Daily Mirror) - The Chavakachcheri police have initiated a special investigation to identify the individual who anonymously reported a potential attack on the Chavakachcheri Magistrate's Court in Jaffna.

Police said that an unknown caller contacted the Chavakachcheri Police Station yesterday, claiming there was a plan to target the court. 

In response, authorities implemented enhanced security measures at the court and surrounding areas, deploying the Police Special Task Force for added protection.

Police suspect the threat may have been made with the intention of misleading the police.
