Police seek public assistance to locate 15 year-old missing girl

Police has sought public assistance to locate a 15-year-old schoolgirl from Ambakote, Kengalle, who went missing since October 13, 2022.

Police said relatives of the girl had complained to the Teldeniya Police that the 15-year-old girl had not returned home after school.

Initial investigations have revealed that the girl had cut school and travelled to Colombo on a train with another girl from the school.

It was revealed that the other girl was handed over to the parents by a youth who was on the train and this girl had gone missing.

Police request public to inform of any whereabouts of this girl through following numbers.
