Postal ballot papers printed for seven districts: Government Printer

Postal ballot papers for the Local Government election in seven districts have already been printed, Government Printer Gangani Kalpana Liyanage said.

She said officials of the Elections Commission have informed them that the financial matter would be discussed with the Treasury to find a solution.

She said Treasury has only granted Rs. 400 million to the Government Printing Department so far and that printings related to the Local Government election have already been completed to the tune of Rs. 700 million. (Sujith Hewajulige)
