Pre-recruitment tests expand opportunities for Sri Lankan workers in Israel

Colombo, August 12 (Daily Mirror) - Pre-recruitment tests have now begun, aiming to further expand opportunities for Sri Lankan workers in Israel's construction industry, the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment (SLBFE) said.

In a media release, it was announced that a large number of people are attending preliminary tests, with these jobs offering salaries of over USD 1,500.

Male workers aged 25-44 with relevant experience in shuttering carpentry, tile spreading, wire tying and plastering in the construction industry are eligible to take these tests directly.

The pre-tests will be held at the NAITA Institute in Katubedda, Moratuwa, from 8:00 am until Thursday, August 15.

A fee of Rs. 6,000.00 will be charged for the pre-tests. Applicants must bring the tools and equipment required for the job they are applying for, along with their passports.
