President orders to resume ’Suraksha’ students’ insurance programme

Colombo, May 19 (Daily Mirror) - President Ranil Wickremesinghe has directed to resume the "Suraksha" student insurance programme, which was temporarily halted due to economic issues. 

From the first week of June, all school students across the island will benefit from this insurance, the President's Media Division said.

The Cabinet approved the Joint Cabinet Memorandum presented by the President as Minister of Finance, Economic Stabilization & National Policy, along with Education Minister Susil Premajayantha.
