Previous govt accused of importing substandard medicines, skipping future orders

Colombo, November 26 (Daily Mirror) - Cabinet Spokesman and Media Minister Nalinda Jayathissa claimed that the previous government was not only responsible for importing substandard medicines but also failed to place medicine orders for the upcoming year.

"After taking over the government, we had to address this issue. However, we successfully resolved it and ensured that adequate supplies of medicine will be available for the next year," he said.
