Ranil Wickremesinghe to be summoned to provide evidence on bond scam: PM

Colombo, October 31 (Daily Mirror) - Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya announced that former President Ranil Wickremesinghe will be summoned to provide evidence pertaining to the Central Bank bond scam that took place in 2015.

She expressed this during a public meeting today (31).

Prime Minister also said that she will never take advice from someone like former President Ranil Wickremesinghe, who was rejected by the people 17 times.

The Prime Minister said that it is a big joke that Ranil Wickremesinghe, who had not understood the fundamentals of the Constitution, the 'people’s mandate', is offering to teach the Constitution.
