Ravi among three National List MPs gazetted by EC

The Election Commission has gazetted the name of former Finance Minister Ravi Karunanayake to one of the two National List seats that were allotted to the New Democratic Front (NDF) following the Parliamentary Elections last week.

The gazette was issued despite the NDF claiming that no decision had been made by the party to nominate Karunanayake, who is said to have been nominated by the party’s secretary.
