Ruling party members nominated for COPF

Ruling party members of the new Committee on Public Finance have been appointed as per the announcement made by Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardene in Parliament.

Accordingly, the new members are Vidura Wickramanayake, Nalin Fernando, Shehan Semasinghe, Pramintha Bandara Tennekoon, Seetha Aramabapola, Surean Ragawan, Anupa Pasqual, Johnston Fernando, Vajira Abeywardene, Mahindananda Aluthgamage, Sumith Udukumbura, Isuru Dodangoda, Premanath Dolawatte, Sahan Pradeep Madura Withanage and Ranjith Bandara.

Accordingly, 18 members from the ruling party have been nominated for the public Finance Committee. Names of 10 opposition members are yet to be named.

The Public Finance Committee became defunct as Parliament was prorogued last month.(Yohan Perera and Ajith Siriwardana)
