SLPP decides not to support Ranil, but to field its own candidate

Colombo, July 29 (Daily Mirror) - The Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP), at its Central Committee meeting, decided today not to support President Ranil Wickremesinghe at the Presidential election, but to field its own candidate instead.

The party will decide on its candidate later.
