STF recovers mobile devices from Boossa high security prison

Boossa, Oct 13 (Daily Mirror) - A smart phone and several other mobile devices were discovered hidden near cells at the Boossa High Security Prison, where organised criminals Sanjeewa Kumara Samaratne, alias Ganemulla Sanjeeva and Samantha Kumara alias 'Wele Suda' are held. 

The Special Task Force (STF) conducted an emergency search of cells No. 44, 38 and 37 in the prison's special section yesterday.  They recovered a mobile phone, a hand free and a charger.

The recovered items have been handed over to prison authorities for further investigations.
