Sancharaka Udawa, Sri Lanka’s premier travel and tourism fair, is scheduled to be held on May 19 and 20, this year, in Colombo, ending a three-year hiatus.

The 10th edition of Sancharaka Udawa, organised by the Sri Lanka Association of Inbound Tour Operators (SLAITO) in collaboration with the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau, will be held at the BIMCH.

The event aims to provide a unique platform for all small and medium tourism service providers to exhibit their products and services and to network and build vital links with the tour operator community and public, thereby entering the wider spectrum of the industry.

Announcing the latest edition of Sancharaka Udawa in Colombo yesterday, SLAITO President Nishard Wijetunge noted that the tourism stakeholders will be able to gain the much-needed exposure at the exhibition, at a subsidised price.

Sancharaka Udawa is expected to bring together a wide network of personnel across the industry.
The expected benefits of this endeavour will be a substantial increase in bookings and sales to the smaller service providers situated in the regions.
