Several changes in coastal line time table: Ruhuna express train to start from Beliatta tomorrow

With the commencement of the new year, the Railways Department has made several amendments to its time table on the coastal line.

Accordingly, the 'Ruhunu Kumari' express train which departs from Matara will start from Beliatta from tomorrow.

This train is scheduled to depart from Beliatta at 5.25 a.m from tomorrow.

The Sagarika Express train, which operated only on weekdays, is scheduled to run on Saturdays as well for the convenience of commuters.

The train that operates from Maradana to Payagala South at 08.35 pm on weekdays has been extended to Aluthgama from tomorrow (January 1).

 Likewise, the train operating from Maradana to Aluthgama at 02.00 pm is scheduled to depart from Maradana to Aluthgama at 01.55 pm from tomorrow.
